You certainly made a lot of great choices to make this painting, everything about it is very classic. So I'm gonna say that this is right when people start to get the idea that zombies are among us, maily because how new the streets looks. Which is pretty nice, it's the beginings of the story that is soon to happen. (or just these three believing they have just got away) Anyway, I like the mute colors you chose for this painting, how it really brings out the creepy and scary vibes that the zombie apocalypse would envoke. The choice of green and purple really make this picture, becuase it does make even me feel uneasy. Though the focus is obvious, I still like how you lead the eye inward to the oncoming zombies with the one point perspective, as well as the man's gun leading us to the first zombie aprouching, as well as the almost unseen pack of zombies further in the distance, so your faded colors for that really work. I also like your ability to show the action of the slow moving zombies, which tells me you really have paid attention to such things. Becuase of the off balance poses, they really do look slow. And lastly, this does seem to look like it's from the 1950's, becuase of the womens dress and the style of the car. But i'm not really feeling that from the gunman in the foreground, he does come off as a little more modern. I can't say anything about the other guy, because of how dark it is around him. I'm not gonna say it being dark is a bad thing, becuase that make it even more creepy (and the heavy rain) and it might ruin the tone if we could truley see his actions, becuase we just dont' neeed to, the man with the hand gun and the girl are enough to understand what is going on, as well as the fear that is coming.
