I must say the overall atmosphere is efficient, we clearly have that feeling of depth, inside the forest/jungle, but also on a high spot, just near the hunter. The perspective is well respected, and I can only notive few details that can disturb. Considering where the monster is (behind) and where the hunter is, the hunter is "facing" us probably a bit too much. But that's really little perception of angle.
I really like how you worked on the water, where the girl fell, it's really make me feel like in the forest, almost near a swamp. Maybe you could make it move a bit more, but that's not that necessary.
The light is coherent, we can easily imagine the shadow of the trees and an opening where the "bird", even though it's not really like sunlight, the forest can change the tones, and well, it's science-fiction right!
The warrior on the left bottom, is the only thing I'm not quite sure about, since I can't really tell what he is up to, maybe trying to reach for the girl?
Also a little word on the hunter, he is very well painted, the anatomy is right and his "armor" fits to the jungle area. I would probably add a small reflection of light on the right side of his body.
Very picky details! But I must say this is quite powerful! I hope the novel fits this good
