I have been totally caught by this drawing at the first time I saw it. The scene has an amazing dynamism, given by the contrast between the blurred parts and the well detailed ones. It's like to see a movie in high definition. The water has totally captured my eyes. It seems damn real. I don't know how much you have spent doing this... but hell if it worth it!
The only thing that in my opinion is a bit out is the expression of the soldier to the left. He's about to hit the woman, so maybe he's expression need to be more aggressive (for example you could draw his mouth open, like he's yelling)
Fighting someone who holds a gun with a short blade is totally badass, I really like the fact that your protagonist is a female. THE GOOD: The dynamic is amazing, the scene is busy but not overcrowded and the flow throughout is solid. The protagonist looks believable and skilled. The piece is also clear, in other words I can tell what is going on at first glance
THE NOT GOOD I don't like the mountain at all. Its too detailed and I think that it limits the scale of the entire scene.
wow, really awesome! I love the colors and tones, there all very fitting. I admire how you drew several people into one picture and conncet them, what is something I would really struggle with. Your pic truely tells are story, I really love the scene you´ve invented here, the sense of movement and the tense atmosphere are brilliantly conveyed!
Awsome, I love the detail in this picture the colours are so 'realistic' the depth of the facial expressions really show a lot of tension, also I love the weapon design very cool and abstract especially the dagger
There's just so much going on in this painting, and somehow you've managed to balance it and give it a sense of cohesion; the lines all pull toward her in the center, and specifically to the expression on her face. (The curved sword on the left is a particularly nice touch, as is the guy floundering in the foreground.) Genius, and beautifully executed.
