The escape of Kern by VirginieCarquin The escape of Kern by VirginieCarquin
Kern has few regrets, after making a carnage, trying to escape from the prison that held him.

Kern is part of a science fiction story, he's not human, I hope you enjoy it?

This is a stunning piece of work. I was very drawn in by the colors. The highlight on his face draws me in to the picture, and then the highlight on his spear helps to move my eyes through the entire picture. The background is very appropriate in creating a mood of conflict and turmoil, while the lone figure emphasizes that it is his struggle.
I think that, if there is one thing I may like to see improved, it would be to define the shadows and highlights around the crotch area a little more, as it is it's almost blending in with the color of the ground.

Very nice work.

I really like the colors you used for that painting. Colors of violence, sadness and war.

I really had to double take this piece because I thought it was a 3D render at first. Really amazing job on the reflected light and the atmosphere as a whole.
